Summary (not a substitute for the full Terms): Savvi ingests bills and documents, organises and enriches them, and helps you manage property and service-related workflows. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your data and decisions. Savvi is a business service; limitations of liability apply. See Sections 8–11.

  1. Customer Data & roles

4.1 Customer Data means documents, images, emails, transaction data and other content you or your users provide to Savvi.

4.2 Ownership. You retain all rights in Customer Data. You grant Savvi a licence to host, process and analyse Customer Data to provide the Service, improve detection quality, maintain security, and comply with law.

4.3 Controller/processor. For your account data and product telemetry, Savvi acts as an independent controller. For data you process through Savvi on behalf of your clients/tenants, Savvi acts as your processor. Our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) (Section 19) applies when we act as processor.

  1. Acceptable use

You will not: (a) break the law (including privacy, IP, spam/PECR rules); (b) upload malware; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (d) use the Service to make decisions that cause harm without appropriate human review; (e) misrepresent recommendations as professional advice.

  1. Third-party services & integrations

Integrations (e.g., accounting, email, open banking, energy data) are provided by third parties under their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services. You are responsible for connection permissions and ongoing access.

  1. Pricing, plans & payment

7.1 Plans.

  • Free: up to 15 documents/month.

  • Pro: up to 1,000 documents/month, £10/month per workspace.

  • Enterprise: custom.

7.2 Billing. Fees are billed in advance and non-refundable except as required by law. Overages or add-ons may be charged pro-rata. Prices exclude taxes unless stated.

7.3 Trials & discounts. Trials and promotions may change or be withdrawn. We may adjust pricing on renewal with notice.

  1. Accuracy, alerts & switching suggestions

8.1 Automation limits. Extraction and enrichment are probabilistic. You should verify key fields (e.g., contract dates, rates). Alerts may be delayed or missed due to supplier changes, document quality or third-party dependency.

8.2 Comparisons & offers. Switching suggestions are informational and may include affiliate links. Savings are estimates only and not guaranteed. You must check final tariffs/terms with the supplier.

  1. Service levels & support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service. Planned maintenance will be scheduled where feasible. Support is provided via legal@savvibills.com and in-app channels during UK business hours.

  1. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures proportionate to risk (e.g., encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring). You are responsible for your own device and identity security and for managing user access/roles.

  1. Confidentiality

Each party must protect the other’s non-public information, using at least reasonable care, and use it only to perform under these Terms.

  1. Intellectual property

Savvi owns the Service, software, models, and documentation. Feedback is welcome; you grant Savvi a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use feedback without obligation.

  1. Compliance & lawful use

You confirm you have a lawful basis to process Customer Data. You will obtain necessary permissions and provide required notices to data subjects. You will comply with sector rules (e.g., property, utilities) and with PECR for any electronic marketing you conduct via integrations or exports.

  1. Beta features

Beta features are for evaluation, may be unstable, and may be subject to additional terms. We may suspend or end betas at any time.

  1. Warranties & disclaimers

Except as expressly stated, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement). We do not provide legal, financial, tax, or energy advice.

  1. Limitation of liability

16.1 Cap. Savvi’s total liability arising out of or related to the Terms is limited to the amounts paid by you to Savvi in the 12 months before the claim (or £100 if you use the Free plan).

16.2 Exclusions. Neither party is liable for: indirect, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages; lost profits or revenue; loss of data (subject to our backup commitments, if any).

16.3 Exceptions. Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.

  1. Indemnity

You will indemnify Savvi against third-party claims arising from your unlawful use of the Service or breach of these Terms.

  1. Consumers (if applicable)

If you are a consumer (not using Savvi for your trade, business or profession): you may have a 14-day cancellation right from the date you sign up for a paid plan. By starting to use Savvi during the cancellation period you acknowledge that some rights may be affected. This Section does not limit your statutory rights.

  1. Data Processing Addendum (processor terms)

When Savvi acts as processor for Customer Data relating to your end customers/tenants, the following apply:

  • Processing: as documented by you via the Service and your instructions.

  • Security: Savvi will implement appropriate measures (see Section 10).

  • Sub-processors: Savvi may use sub-processors with appropriate contracts; a list is available on request. You will be notified of material changes and may object on reasonable grounds.

  • Assistance: Savvi will assist with data subject requests and security incidents, and provide information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance.

  • International transfers: where applicable, Savvi will use the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

  • Return/Deletion: upon termination or at your request, Savvi will delete or return Customer Data, subject to legal retention requirements and backups.

  1. Suspension

We may suspend access if: (a) required by law; (b) to address security risks; or (c) for non-payment, after notice.

  1. Term & termination

Either party may terminate for convenience with 30 days’ notice (end of current billing period for paid plans) or for material breach if not cured within 14 days of notice. On termination, access ends and we will handle data per Section 19 (Return/Deletion).

  1. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law or our Service. We will post changes and, for material updates, provide advance notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

  1. Governing law & venue

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
